The projects of Meet Kate are located in the south of Ghana, in the medium-sized town Agona Swedru and the small neighboring village Ekwamkrom. All our projects are the result of local initiaitives and dreams, and are managed by Ghanaian employees. With every project we strive for financial independence within five years.

Educational projects

Education is the most important aspect of a self-reliant future. The focus of Meet Kate's projects has always been on the development of children. Schooling and a safe shelter are crucial. Read about our children's home, daycare center and primary school and discover how Meet Kate invests in the future.

Self-reliance projects

Sustainability and self-reliance: these are currently popular terms that are inseparable from development work. Especially in a country with an emerging and growing economy like Ghana, it is important to keep a long-term vision. By providing short-term help, whilst at the same time investing in long-term projects, we hope to respond effectively to the needs of the people in the communities we work in.
